Former Houston-based Continental Airlines used it as its largest hub, and United Airlines, the world’s third-largest carrier by passenger miles flown, uses it as its largest hub as well.

William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
Houston’s second airport is William P. Hobby Airport. It’s only 11 miles from downtown Houston, making it the most convenient airport for visitors.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT)
Commercial airline service to and from South Texas is available at the San Antonio International Airport. Each year, more than 8.5 million people use San Antonio International Airport to fly to more than 35 different domestic and international destinations with ten different airlines.
In addition to supporting over 97,500 jobs and generating nearly $1.6 billion in annual earnings for employees and business owners, the International Airport is a significant economic powerhouse for the region. The City of San Antonio, Texas, owns and operates the airport.
A total of 2,305 acres are devoted to three distinct runways. It stands at the height of 809 feet above sea level. The airport is located in Class C airspace.
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
The city of Austin owns and operates the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, which is the second-fastest-growing mid-sized airport in the United States. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has only been open for twenty years, but it already contributes more than 74,000 jobs to the Central Texas economy. Austin-Bergstrom Airport has been recognized for its local food, music, art, and customer service, including runner-up in Fodor’s 2019 Travel Awards for Best U.S. Airport.
It’s about a 7-mile drive from Austin. You can take regional Capital Metro service, taxis, or cabs to get there. With regards to destinations, Southwest is the primary airline, and Atlanta is the most connected city.
Dallas Love Field (DAL)
Dallas Love Field, a world-class general-purpose airport owned and operated by the City of Dallas, is a city asset. The city’s Department of Aviation oversees the airfield, which is seven miles northwest of downtown.
