College Career and Minor Leagues

Major League Career
In June 2010, Jackson was traded to the Oakland Athletics for pitcher Sam Demel with cash considerations. Jackson only played in 18 games for the Oakland Athletics during that year and only 60 games for the entire season. He finished with two home runs, a .236 batting average, and 16 RBI.
