Mira Vista Country Club
Mira Vista CC, designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, opened in 1987. The parkland-style course winds through hills of native wildflowers and grasses, blanketing three lakes that add variety to the course.
The course isn’t particularly long, measuring only 7,020 yards from the tips, but it features several long par 5s, such as the 647-yard No. 6 and three par 4s of more than 450 yards.

Shady Oaks, an exclusive club, was created for the average golfer and was home to the great Ben Hogan. The famous Marvin Leonard built it. Leonard purchased the Amon Carter Foundation land and employed Robert Trent Jones to lay the course on 200 acres of the 1,200-acre tract.
Shady Oaks’ signature feature is its large greens, which are fast and average nearly 200 feet in circumference. Leonard’s nursery supplied the bent-grass for the greens.
North Course at Ridglea Country Club
