September 4 – 6, 2026 — Westfest (West)
A long-running cultural festival celebrating Czech heritage in Central Texas. Westfest features traditional music, folk dancing, cultural exhibits, and regional food, including kolaches and other Czech specialties.
September 12 – 13, 2026 — Pecan Street Festival (Austin)
One of Austin’s oldest street festivals, held twice annually. The fall edition includes arts and crafts vendors, live music performances, food vendors, and family-friendly activities in the historic Sixth Street district.
September 19, 2026 — Plano Balloon Festival Kickoff Events (Plano)
Opening-day events for the annual balloon festival, featuring hot air balloon launches, live music, food vendors, and evening balloon glows. Full festival activities continue into the following weekend.
September 25 – October 18, 2026 — State Fair of Texas (Dallas)
One of the largest and most recognizable events in the state, the State Fair of Texas features livestock competitions, an extensive midway, live entertainment, an auto show, and signature fair foods. The fair runs daily at Fair Park.
